52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks: Week 46

Week 46: Random Fact
There are the standard things that we look for in out genealogy research: births, marriages, deaths. But then there are the random things that we find, like when my great-great-grandfather’s Civil War pension file revealed that he had his initials tattooed on his left arm. That isn’t something that you put on a family group sheet, but it’s cool to know! What random/cool/fun/weird fact have you found about an ancestor?

I have had this page open all day, and I still have nothing to add to it.
