Things we love

To start, describe yourself in 5 words…

+ Stubborn + Planner + Creative + Bossy + Crafty

What’s your favorite mantra or motto to live by?

+ To be or not to be that is the question + She believed she could and she did + Frankly my dear i don’t give a damn…

For those who don’t know, share a little of your story with us…

One of three children. Both parents have now passed away. Married for 16 years to the most amazing and most patient man. We have a 15 year old daughter. 3 Fur-babies. But many more that captured my heart in the years before. Keeper of memories and moments. Scrapbooker, Project Lifer. Everyday Life Photo Journalist. Blogger for 12 years.

Through it all, what was the hardest thing you’ve had to overcome?

As a 2pound 13 Prem Baby with a heart condition i like to think that that was my first obstacle.  Moving in with my grandmother as a teenager with my parents living on the other side of the country.  Their Separation  whilst i was still living away and then divorce and meeting new parents after i returned to live with them.  When my sister lost my Nephew & then 6 months later my niece. The death of my Grandparents. My Grandmother who i lived with. Jack losing his job. Moving house.  My father, and then 9 months later my mother passing away. To lose both parents in such a short space of time is so hard. Moving to Tasmania a few months later away from everyone.

What was the pinnacle moment that turned you into a true believer?

I guess i am still trying to locate that pinnacle, each day i find a new thing to read or inspire me always reaching for new goals to achieve.

What’s the greatest lesson you’ve learnt?

That no matter what i am able to do things i didn’t think that i could do.

If you could go back and tell yourself something, what would you say?

Listen to the stories for those that are now no longer here.

Would you do anything differently?

Yes i would look after myself better. Take care of my health. Spend less time online. Listen more to those that know better. Spend more time with loved ones. Take more photos. Pay more attention. Travel more. Experience life.

What do you hope people can learn or gain from hearing your story?

That they will make the time to ask questions of there loved ones.

And some fast fires, just to finish off…

Cheese or chocolate?  Cheese with a small chocolate side dish..

Summer or winter? I like both.

Smoothie or juice? I prefer coffee.

Books or movies? Both.. though i don’t read as much as much as i used to when is was younger.

Tea or coffee? Coffee, coffee and for an extra shot coffee.

Yoga or boxing? I would love to be able to do yoga, i do like boxing when i have done it in

And last but not least, finish this sentence… The most important thing in live is…

That we are remembered as people who made a difference not just to the world but to those who loved us the most.
