[Set 3 Goals]

It has been quite some time since i set down any blogging goals, and there are a few changes that i would like to make in the coming months. I would like to give myself 6 months to make these changes.

  1. To change the content that i have been writing about. I still enjoy writing three times a week, so i am thinking i should keep it that way. I also like the weekly topics [Coffee & Chat Tuesday, Stuff i Love Saturday, Currently, and occasionally the Sunday snapshot (when i remember)] and for the most part i have stayed pretty much on track with them. I am thinking of adding a few more daily tasks on the odd weeks that i have the extra content.
  2. I am not too fussed about gaining new followers, if they come that’s great, but i have always written this blog for me to keep track of things (my jar to add my memories too)
  3. Photography is something i would like to focus on, so it matches better with the content that i post. More photos taken by me. Set props up etc.

Day One: Set Three Goals. Today’s task:Write down three concrete goals for your blog. Creating goals forces you to think carefully about what success means to you, and defined goals will keep you focused as you work on your blog. Here are some questions to help you clarify what you’d like to achieve: Why do you blog? To gain followers? To make friends? To win customers? If your blog exceeded your wildest dreams, what would that look like? How many followers would you have? How often would you post? What would your blog do for you? Now, translate that vision into three specific goals, with dates and numbers. Not sure what’s reasonable? Check the resource page for details and more inspiration. For bonus points, publish your goals in a new post! Tag your post with #bloggingbranding so other participants can find you, and browse the tag to see posts from other course participants.
