I have written a number of times about how important it is to get you’re memories into a book. Well how about your memorabilia. Such as old letters, newspaper clippings, and events from your past, school reports etc.

It’s only recently that i have started doing Project Life, and i Cant say how much of a change it has made in collating our year, but past years i have struggled with, and its something thats on the TO DO LIST.

I do have a designated spot where i store all of my memories though. I can’t tell you what a godsend this trunk has been.

Inside it stores all of my photos that are not in scrapbooks,
Letters are in a folder (in plastic sleeves for each person that has sent me something).
A wooden box of my grandmothers photos.
A little suitcase that belonged to my mum with her memorabilia and photos.
A small box of photos of my dad and clippings from when he passed away.
My Life story Book, and boxes of my own photos.
Plastic sleeves with Jacks Photos and Memorabilia.
A box of old cards from over the years.
Angel has her photos, and things in a wooden box that she keeps in her room.

Eventually i will get the time to sit and scan these things to add to a family / personal project life album, and also add more to my life story book. But i can’t say enough how important it is to walk around your house, look into all of those nooks and crannies, drawers and boxes for this memorabilia.
