14|4 Weekly Photo Challenge: Change

Weekly Photo Challenge: Change

This week, we want to see photos that represent change. Depending on where in the world you are, this could be a winter landscape blossoming to spring, or vice versa. It could be a picture of a place you’ve left behind and hope never to return to, a photo of a place you hope to reach, or a snapshot of where you currently stand in a journey. Perhaps you’ll capture your child on the cusp of a developmental milestone, or the sun just about to flip the switch between night and day.

In a new post created for this challenge, share a picture that says CHANGE.

We’re excited to see the purely literal, the totally figurative, and everything in between.

What is the saying “Life begins at 40″. Well for me that is certainly true. In a few short weeks i will have completed the Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation. My body hasn’t transformed all that  much, but my way of thinking has. The house is more organised, and things are getting done. I now take the time to write down what we are going to be eating for the week ahead. I walk a lot more than i thought that i ever could. I constantly check my Health Watch for the amount of steps i have done. Considering it was on the second hole when i got it and i am getting close to the 6th one now it has gotten a lot looser. Some of my clothes are even a little lose on me, so something is shifting. I even had jack help me make a little vegetable garden for the kitchen with plans for making a herb garden as well. I am enjoying life a lot more. We are spending more time outside walking as a family, or just Jack & I, which is so good for us to just sound some quiet time together, and he has always enjoyed the outdoors. So it’s helping our relationship grow stronger, and i enjoy our little chats on our walks, and coffee dates. I am not up to hiking stage and i still get a little puffed and need a hand with the steep hills, but i am a lot fitter than i was ten weeks ago when i started this CHANGE. I will be going into the next round of The Body Transformation, a little stronger, a lot wiser, with more confidence and determination, and blessed with a new outlook on life, and how short and special it is.
