Out + About
An early morning drive to Fossil Bluff.
Write out christmas cards.
Taken by Angel.
What are you going to do this year, to make this Christmas your happiest one yet?
We will be on our own this year so i am hoping to make it as easy as possible so on the day we dont have to do a thing but enjoy it.
THE HAPPENINGS IN MY WORLD:
I was rudely awakened this morning at 7am with Angel announcing that Jack was home and he had brought McDonalds. So reluctantly got up and ate that.
He wanted to take a photo of a boat down at the wharf so we jumped into the car and got some photos of Fossil Bluff. I did however get some beautiful shots of the sun over the ocean, so not a bad way to start a sunday.
He has now taken himself off to bed and i an waiting for the coffee to magically appear, the coffee fairies are pretty slack on a sunday morning i gotta say.
Lounge is almost done. Have started filling my diary in with the missing notes Angel found, thank goodness because there are a few things happening this week. Found my Brothers address, so can now write a couple of Christmas Cards out.
Went for two more drives. Firstly to the rain Forrest / wilderness / middle of bloody nowhere, where Jack decided that it was fine for him to wander off and leave us in the car on our own. it scared the crap out of me it really did. Then came home. later in the night we went and looked at christmas lights.
ON THE AGENDA THIS WEEK:
- Jack is off to Launceston on Monday and back Tuesday night.
- Rent Inspection on Thursday.
- Angel has an end of year Picnic on Friday
LISTENING TO / WATCHING:
I recorded a documentary that was shown in the early hours of the morning about the 150 years of the Melbourne Zoo. Has brought many memories back of going their with family, and then in later years with Jack.
Looking forward to watching the two christmas shows that are on 7/9 tonight.
IN THE NEWS:
Much of the news is still on the Nurse in the UK who took her own life. My personal opinion is that she must have had many other underlying problems to have taken her own life, that one single incident would not have been the only cause.
Apricot Chicken in honour of Jacks Dad. Today is 24 years since he passed away.
THE ORGANISED HOUSEWIFE:
This is my weekend list from 7th December
Use today and the weekend to cross at least 5 tasks off your to-do list.
My to do list is ever growing these days so to cross 5 things off would be a miracle. Here is 5 in no particular order.

- Continue to organise for christmas: all xmas stuff in one corner to be sorted.
- Research camera: Ongoing!!!
- Bake cookies: Still not done.
