Make a list of things you’d like to change. Expand one or all of the point into a post. How do they inform one another? What connects them? What does that say about you?.

I think first of all I need to start with Weight-loss and Exercise, IE: I need to lose a lot of it and do more of it. Over the past week I have gone back to keeping track of my weight, as it had been several months since I have weighed in, I was surprised to find that I was around the same weight as I was when I left Perth.  I have lost around 2’kgs this week, but it does tend to go up and down. I am as of today 80.9 (I haven’t been able to get under 81 for a while so it is a good thing but still more to go). That is where the Exercise part comes in I don’t do any at all, and I really need to start doing at least something.

By losing weight and Exercising, I will be able to wear more modern up-to-date clothing not the same old boring fat clothes, Changing my Lacklustre hairstyle as well would be great. My skin is very dry at the moment, and I look really tired. By changing my habits I hope that it will also give me more confidence to go out and do more things. To not be as shy as I am. to make friends that  I now don’t have.

What does that say about you?.

It says that I am lazy and that I need to spend more time on myself, less time eating junk (although I don’t eat a lot of that and never drink soft drinks or have sugar in coffee or tea). I need to get fit not only for my health as I was born with a heart condition, and both of my parents had heart problems. I need to do this for my husband and daughter as well, He is very fit as he walks a lot for work and his hobby of Metal Detecting, She walks and runs around a lot as kids do. Me not so much, although I have enjoyed our nature walks since moving here, but i do get so tired so quickly. Also love the fresh produce that we have bought as well, as that does make cooking and planning a meal a great deal easier.

I have tried many of the weight-loss tablets and none have worked. I used the WiiFit for a few months and that was good, I did lose some weight by doing a ten-day detox which I really need to do again.

I have downloaded many a Couch to 5/10k apps but never use them. It’s that getting off the couch bit that I find so difficult. I make excuses like it’s too hot, it’s too cold, my back is sore (I have a hereditary back disease that I discovered after a fall when I was 21), then there was the plantar wort on the bottom of my foot for around 5 months and then the 6+weeks of healing in-fact it’s almost 8weeks. That kept me from walking too far as well.

I guess that this is a very critical of myself post and well yes it is. but its changes that I know I need to and have in the past tried to make on many occasions, but I always slip into bad habits IE: not Exercising

Christmas Time is probably not the best time to start on a new lifestyle, but I am mainly for now keeping an eye on what I eat and my weight. We will see what 2013 brings. I would love to start the Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation. I would dearly love to be a lot thinner than I am now by the time I turn 40 in March next year. eek that’s only 4 months from today away…

I have a lot of work to do!!!!!
