FW: Letter from Santa to Angel
I filled in a form the other day on http://www.thereindeerbarn.com/ and this is what we just got back.
Angel loves it. it took a couple of days but its well worth it.
HO! HO! HO! Merry Christmas!! What a pleasure it was to open your letter, so sweet and full of information. Santa gets lots and lots of letters every day, but was so pleased to see one from you. I had to run and tell Mrs. Claus that you had written – you should have seen the smile on her face when she heard your name. You made us both so happy! My oh my, what a big girl you are becoming. I love watching you from the North Pole, seeing all the new things you are learning. And next year will be even better, with more new discoveries each day. Ms. Minson told me what a pleasure you were to teach, and that she’s going to miss you very much. It was wonderful seeing you the other day, and I’m glad you liked your little gift.
The weather here has been COLD at the North Pole with lots of snow. So different than your weather, I’m sure it’s quite warm in Australia! HO! HO! HO! But I am so very busy right now and running from workshop to workshop to check on every little thing, so this helps to keep me warm. Although it’s quite hectic here at the North Pole as Christmas Eve fast approaches, everybody is working like mad! But Santa is hoping to get out for a quick ice skate before we must leave the North Pole. Usually, Mrs. Claus, all the reindeer and elves join me in a festive skate just before Christmas. It is very cold but very fun. HO! HO! HO! Rudolph loves to skate. He has two pairs of ice skates and wears them both. He likes to wear a red hat when he skates so he looks pretty funny. Rudolph has quite a sense of humor anyway and is such a pleasure to be around.
Santa knows you try really, really, really hard to be good. So, I checked with Gigi, my assistant elf in charge of toy distribution and I see that you’re on my “Nice List”! Good girl! I’ve asked the elves to pack some nice presents on the sleigh for you. I won’t spoil the surprise and tell you what goodies you’ll unwrap come Christmas morning, but I can guarantee that there will be loads of holiday magic to be shared at your house.
Mrs. Claus has been baking up a storm this year, the elves and I have been enjoying tasting all her knew creations. But she’s limiting me to only a few a day, as she doesn’t want me to get stuck in any chimneys Christmas Eve. HO! HO! HO! Santa does tend to get a bit plump this time of year. HO! HO! HO!
Well Angel, I must be on my way. Christmas is getting closer and I have lots of work left to be done. I am really looking forward to my flight to you; it’s always a pleasure to come to your barn in Calingiri. But please, no peeking come Christmas Eve though. You need to be snug in bed and fast asleep so that I can come deliver your gifts. I’ll try and remember to bring some treats for Zoe, Holly and Kiki. I’m sorry Scrappy has left, but I know he loved you very much and is off on a new adventure.
Merry Christmas Angel!
